Privacy

What we collect

• Visit statistics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It uses no cookies, and Vercel discards the short-lived visitor identifier after 24 hours. We only see totals: pages, referring sites, country, browser and device type.
• Votes and thanks. When you vote in a Souvenir Hot Take, tap “RIP” for Jimmy, or tap “Thank the film crew”, we add one to an anonymous total. We do not store your name, your IP address, or anything else about you with it.
• Spam protection. To stop scripts from inflating votes, we keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address in a counter that deletes itself after 60 seconds.
• Server logs. Our host, Vercel, keeps standard technical logs, including IP addresses, to run and secure the site.

Cookies

We set three small cookies, only after you use a feature, and only so that feature works:

• voted_stop-N-souvenir remembers your Hot Take vote so you can’t vote twice. Kept for one year.
• voted_rip-jimmy remembers that you paid your respects to Jimmy, so you can only do it once. Kept for one year.
• thanks_N / thanks_tour count your taps for a vlog or for the whole trip (up to 10 each). Kept for one year.

They contain no personal information and are never used for advertising or tracking. No analytics or advertising cookies are used.

Who else is involved

• Vercel (hosting and visit statistics), United States.
• Upstash (stores the anonymous vote and thanks totals), United States.
• YouTube / Google: videos and thumbnails load from YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode. When you play a video, Google’s own privacy policy applies.
• Google Sheets holds the tour data shown on the site. It contains no visitor data.

What we don’t do

• We don’t sell or share personal information, and we don’t use it for advertising.
• We don’t track you across other websites, so a browser “Do Not Track” signal doesn’t change anything here.
• The site isn’t aimed at children under 13 and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example Switzerland, the EU or California), you can ask what we hold about you and have it deleted. Since we don’t store anything that identifies you, there is usually nothing to return. You can clear our cookies at any time in your browser.

Photos and videos

Videos, photos and names belong to Good Good Golf and its creators. This site is not affiliated with or endorsed by them. If you’d like something removed, get in touch and we’ll take it down.
